Amazing!
The future is looking bright for me. Not only will I be able to put into practice much of what I have learned at UWG, my students will experience more success and my job will get more streamlined. I plan to always be a classroom teacher, however, now that I am qualified to teach at Georgia Virtual Schools, I may add that to my palette of opportunities. The interaction between teacher and student is a precious one to me, so leaving the classroom would be the last thing that I would want to do.
Impacting lives and preparing people for their futures is what teaching is all about for many of us. Being able to do so with enhanced technology skills and applications puts graduates of UWG's Instructional Technology program several steps ahead of the rest of our colleagues as more and more of education is transferring to technology.
One of my future goals is to always ride the crest of the technology waves and to stay savvy in the emerging technologies related to education and science.
